The Next Generation Learning National Schools Quiz is happening on Friday 12th March! Give your pupils the chance to represent their school, and participate with other children up and down the country, as part of the BIGGEST EVER online schools quiz!
Aimed at primary school children, the quiz will cover curriculum areas from history, science, citizenship, numeracy and literacy. Your pupils will love this fun and interactive way of learning. You can choose whether your pupils participate on their own in the ‘individual’ competition, or as a group in the ‘class’ competition. With prizes for both categories, it’s going to make for a fantastic event.
From dinosaurs to a race through space... take your pupils on a journey they won’t forget.

Your pupils will be guided through the quiz by Ruby & Spike – an unlikely pair of school friends united by a passion for adventure; Ruby in the pursuit of knowledge and Spike in the pursuit of fun!
Dr Deshi, a genius inventor, has challenged Ruby and Spike to collect knowledge to fill his prototype creation the Evolutionary Enhancer (EVE). The EVE is a personal IQ boosting device - anyone that wears one becomes instantly clever! In fact, the prototype invention is currently in the form of a top hat, worn by Dr Deshi’s feline companion Claude! This makes him the cleverest cat on the planet!
Ruby and Spike need your help! They need school children across the country
to help fill the EVE with all the knowledge the world has to offer! Join them on a learning adventure through

12th March @ 11am! Don’t miss out! Ruby’s top of the class! 9yrs old, and as smart as someone double her age, Ruby has a love for all gadgets and gizmos. Her school uniform was designed by Dr Deshi and has all the tools she’ll need for her learning adventure. Clear headed, calm and prepared – Ruby doesn’t rush into anything and has listened intently to all of Dr Deshi’s instructions. Spike is the coolest 9yr old to ever live (or so he likes to think)! Spike charges into every situation with 100% enthusiasm, 0% preparation. He has a likeable and genuine personality which his classmates and Ruby can’t help but find endearing. Spike also wears one of Dr Deshi’s modified uniforms, but accessorises his with the latest trainers and a lot of hair gel! He thinks the Dr’s instructions are boooooooring and secretly doesn’t understand what half his gadgets are for, or how to operate them! An eccentric inventor to say the least! An unusual mix of genius and bumbling buffoon - meaning most of his inventions go a bit wrong in his haze of enthusiasm. But the Dr always bounces back from calamity thinking his next creation will be the one to land him a place in the Science hall of fame! He’s so excited about the EVE, but knows he needs help in getting as much knowledge into the machine in the shortest possible time... He thinks he’s struck gold by finding Ruby & Spike to help him on his search, they don’t know it but they make the perfect pair of adventurers. Claude is Dr Deshi’s long suffering feline friend. Like any other cat he’s fickle and indifferent, but Dr Deshi presumes this is because he’s a deep thinker! Claude is even snootier than normal because he is now the proud owner of the prototype EVE top hat – Dr Deshi’s latest mastermind creation – making him the cleverest cat on the planet!
