The River project is primarily aimed at providing teaching and learning resources to support the Geography curriculum at Key Stage 3. It will additionally enable teachers of key stage 2 to use materials to develop an understanding of the characteristics of a river. The project resources will directly support the QCA geography scheme of work, particularly Unit 4: 'Flood disaster' and Unit 7: 'Rivers- a fieldwork approach'.
