Overview
Built in to every iPad are assistive technologies that can help personalise learning for individuals and enable all learners to access and create content in their classrooms.
In this session you will learn to unlock the potential of an iPad by exploring a range of accessibility features that are found within it.
Who should attend?
This half day course is valuable for:
- SENDCOs and inclusion managers
- Teachers and teaching assistants supporting pupils with SEND
- Any other staff with an interest in supporting pupils with SEND.
What will I learn?
- By the end of the session you will
- Have an overview of key accessibility features on the iPad.
- Have a clear focus on how the use the iPad within your school setting.
- How will it change my teaching?
- The course will provide you with knowledge of a range of materials to support your teaching of the computing curriculum, which can be accessed on a range of devices.
